Wolfenstein Old Blood Monster Uber

Welcome to the walkthrough for the final boss of Wolfenstein: The Old Blood. Once the cutscene with Helga and Schreiner finishes, there is no need to be in a rush. This boss will not attack you as long as you do not fire your weapons. This is good, because there are some more supplies in the current room you are in, and it's good to be familiar with it before beginning your attack on the boss. You should also know two things before fighting the boss: you can only attack him by attacking his weakpoint, which is his mouth, and that he has 3 different phases he goes through.

The 3 Phases
[edit]

The final boss has 3 different phases that it goes through before it is defeated.

Wolfenstein Old Blood Final Boss

Phase 1
[edit]

The first phase is the one that it starts out in. It will not attempt to attack you unless you try and shoot your guns. That's it. It will not attack you otherwise. The standard attacks it uses in this phase will be used in all phases afterwards. The best tactic to use for this phase is to simply run up to the second floor of the area, go to the middle, and shoot him while falling down. Then, while he is attacking the second floor, shoot him on the first and then immediately run to the stairs to get to the second floor. By the time you get to the middle part again, he will no longer be aggressive towards you. Once you deal enough damage to him, he will start to wail and moan, holding his head with his hands. This means that he is now in the second phase.

Phase 2
[edit]

Old

The second phase is similar to the first, however, nazis will spawn as soon as the phase starts as well at different intervals during the phase. The best thing to do in this phase is to simply hide behind cover (near the stairs leading up to the second floor is a great place) and slightly peek out so that the nazis shoot. The final boss will attack them and kill them regardless of what they're shooting at. They can also turn into zombies, which means the other nazis will shoot them and in turn be killed by the final boss. Once they're all dead, it will usually be quiet for a while so you can do the tactic for Phase 1 again. After enough nazis spawn and you deal enough damage to the final boss, the final phase will begin.

Phase 3
[edit]

The last phase is similar to the last phase. Instead of nazis spawning, zombies will now spawn the majority of the time. This means you'll have to shoot them in order to be safe, and that's risky due to the fact that the final boss will attack you if you try to shoot them. However, there is an easy way to get rid of the zombies without being attacked by the final boss. You can melee them OR use your silenced handgun to shoot and kill them, as the final boss will not be able to attack you either way. Just like the last phase, simply kill the zombies and then proceed to attack the final boss, and eventually he will fall and you will have defeated him. Once he's dead, you can go back into the hallway that led to this room, kill Helga, obtain the folder, and finish the game!
