Fascinating true stories about after-death communication and the power of love. Grief Diaries creator Lynda Cheldelin Fell dreamed of her daughter's death two years before it happened. When the nightmare came true in 2009, she watched her deceased grandmother guide her daughter safely to heaven. Despite the shock of her tragic loss, Lynda's experience brought tremendous comfort to her broken heart. But her incident is far from unique. Bonnie's deceased father smiled and winked at her before disappearing behind a building. Mary saw her deceased mother's eyes in the face of a stranger. The morning after Sharon released a single balloon in memory of her former fiancE, she woke to a voice in her ear saying, 'I got my balloon.' Christine's dead in-laws appeared in her bedroom, and stayed for an hour. Part of the Grief Diaries series exploring life experiences, Grief Diaries: Hello From Heaven features true stories about the natural phenomena known as after-death communication. Narrated by writers from all walks of life, each story offers a fascinating glimpse into the possibility that there is more to life . . . and death . . . than meets the eye.

'Artful Grief' is a decade long study of loss by an art therapist, in the aftermath of her daughter's suicide. On October 11, 2001, Sharon received a phone call in the middle of the night from the New York City Police Department telling her that her seventeen year old daughter Kristin, had 'fallen' from the roof of her college dormitory. So began her journey into the labyrinth of unspeakable grief. As the rst year drew to a close she found no comfort in traditional therapy, and no solace in spoken or written words. In surrender to her inner art therapist's guidance, she began to create collages. She cut and tore images out of magazines and glued them on various size paper. The paper was a safe and sacred container, receptive to the fullness of emotion, story and paradox. Over time there was transformation and healing. 'Artful Grief' A creative roadmap through violent dying and grief. A dose of 'soul medicine' for survivors. A way to retrieve the pieces of a shattered life, with paper, scissors and glue. A resourceful tool for those suffering with complicated grief and/or PTSD. A place for the unspeakable to be seen and heard. A process to quiet the mind and open the heart. A visual experience of trauma images as illustrations of hope. A sample of prophetic dreams and meditations that are illuminating. A heartfelt sharing of 'intimate secrets' for understanding and compassion. A surprising 'grief gift' that is inspiring.'Hello from heaven pdf file

The loss of a child is every parent’s worst nightmare. For Randah Ribhi Hamadeh this nightmare became a reality. The poems in Summer Rays offer consolation to any parent on a grief journey. It is a poetic diary of loss and communication with the eternal soul. Through her poems, all bereaved parents will identify with the heartfelt pleadings of a grieving parent and the connection with her lost child. Readers will find her poetry profound as she describes the familiar, excruciating pain of a grieving parent, in particular on the special occasions where the lost child is missed; birthdays, anniversaries, Mother’s Day and New Year’s Day. They will also relate to her feelings of gratitude towards those who were supportive and frustration with those less understanding. Writings from the soul are cathartic not only for the authors but for all who share their unthinkable sorrow. As with any writing, when the writer takes up the pen, the muse will appear. In this case, the muse is Samar Ahmed Al Ansari, the author’s deceased daughter.

Though one in four pregnancies ends in loss, miscarriage is shrouded in such secrecy and stigma that the woman who experiences it often feels deeply isolated, unsure how to process her grief. Her body seems to have betrayed her. Her confidence in the goodness of God is rattled. Her loved ones don't know what to say. Her heart is broken. She may feel guilty, ashamed, angry, depressed, confused, or alone. With vulnerability and tenderness, Adriel Booker shares her own experience of three consecutive miscarriages, as well as the stories of others. She tackles complex questions about faith and suffering with sensitivity and clarity, inviting women to a place of grace, honesty, and hope in the redemptive purposes of God without offering religious clichés and pat answers. She also shares specific, practical resources, such as ways to help guide children through grief, suggestions for memorializing your baby, and advice on pregnancy after loss, as well as a special section for dads and loved ones.

WITHOUT A WORD is a riveting memoir that blends remarkable achievement with passion, sacrifice, love, pain, and human interest. It takes the reader into the lives of a celebrity couple, Pro Football Hall of Famer Jim Kelly, and his wife, Jill, to reveal the Kelly family's private struggle and how eight and a half years with their severely disabled, terminally ill son, Hunter, unfolded in a redemptive and transforming manner. The light of Hunter's love through his brief and silent life shone into the shadowed corners of Jill and Jim's lives resulting in Jill believing that Jesus Christ was authentic, her learning to forgive Jim of past indiscretions, and finally resulting in Jim's seeking and finding God. Lessons gleaned from Hunter's life and death, and Jim and Jill's struggle to save their marriage during tumultuous times, make this a compelling and inspiring read.

'Here is what we know, those of us who can speak to tell a story: On the afternoon of October 21st, my wife, Lexy Ransome, climbed to the top of the apple tree in our back yard and fell to her death. There were no witnesses, save our dog Lorelei . . .' So begins this remarkable, unputdownable debut about a man faced with the sudden and inexplicable loss of the love of his life. Convinced that Lexy's death was not an accident, and driven by a desire to discover what really happened that October afternoon, Paul decides to embark on the only course of action he can possibly imagine. What follows is a luminous account of an extraordinary, magical love affair, and its aftermath. This is the story of a passionate woman and her irrepressible dreams; of a man who does not know how to begin to live without her; of an animal's loyalty and devotion, and of the desperate search for answers that leads them all to places they never expected to go.
