I've just begun a campagin as the Knights of St. John. My first order of business was to conquer North Africa to establish a tax base. In doing so I've discovered that the infidel North African populace has other ideas about their so called 'freedom.'
Is the best way to convert the population by building a church school in the most recent village that pops-up? Exemption from taxes is not helping all that much, my garrison is weak, and my two regions of Tunis and Malta are covered in Rebels and Barbary States' troops. Thoughts?
